Planes, Trains, Automobiles, Buses & Trams

We said good bye to our main mode of transportation, today. Since we have been on our trip we have been on planes, trains, automobiles, buses, trams and some walking every day.  We leave tomorrow for Munich by train.  After the weekend, Jerry and Linda will fly home.  Pat and I will get on another train and head for Rome.  Hopefully, I have learned enough from Jerry to add our travels in Italy to the Blog. I will try!

Our ride to Zugspitze was on a tram.
 

Put you skis on the outside of the train.
 

The cards on the left allows you to ride the train or the bus to, from & around the Grainau & Garmish area. There is no charge for this card. The card on the right is to ride the Tram or Train to and from Grainau to Zugspitze (including ski lift). You buy this card (41.50 Euro each).
