We turned our rental car in. It is always a feeling of accomplishment for me when I can rent a car in Europe and drive it through several countries and hurt no one, including myself. However, I would be less than honest if I did not report to you, I did back into an oak tree (big) in Brugges. I was watching an elderly couple (in their 60's) walk toward me as I was backing. Fortunately, I did not hit them, they are ok. I did hit the tree, the tree is ok, also. I did have full insurance on the car, so it is ok. The couple did check on me to see if I was ok. I was just glad that Linda, Pat, and Larry did not witness this.
Enough of that, on to Munich. Haxnbaur's, Glockenspiel, Hofbrau Haus. no trip to Munich would be complete, as a tourist, without visiting these locations. This is what Munich is all about, not excluding the historical, past and present, of this city. Mine and Linda's portion of this adventure is winding down. I will be turning the blog over to Larry on Monday.
Linda and I are headed for Alabama. Larry and Pat are headed to Italy.
